Memorandum on creation of interregional “Association of innovative regions of Russia” has been signed today in Tomsk within frameworks of XIII innovation forum Innovus.
A solemn ceremony of opening V Kazan venture fair has been held in Kazan, GTRK “Korston”. 53 companies were presented there as potential investors. RT Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov greeted guests and participants. Head of republican government thanked those intending to invest their money into Republic.
President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov has held trustee council session of RT Investment-Venture Fund at the Government House. Members of Trustee Council discussed issues of further realization of some venture projects. Thus, course of implementing innovative project “Design and use of celoform (powder-like agent made of cotton pulp) in medicine” (OOO “Celoform”) has been debated. The project was initiated in 2005 by employees of Kazan state medical and Kazan state technological universities and implies introduction of new medicine made of cotton pulp meant for treatment of traumatic processes.
Director of RT Investment-venture fund Ainur Aideldinov told about preparation for holding the 5th Kazan venture fair at briefing in House of RT government.
RT Prime minister R.N. Minnikhanov held Board Session of guardians of state non-commercial organization “Investment -venture fund of RT”. On the agenda were issues of projects of various stages of realization which are being financed by Investment -venture fund.
On behalf of Tatarstan the Agreement was signed by Aynur Aydeldinov - CEO of Investment and Venture Fund, and on behalf of the Finnish Republic – by Timo Kopponen – CEO of Innovation Center of Finland “Finnoid Russia”.
RT Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov awarded the winners of republican contest “50 best innovative ideas for RT” and a contest of the innovative projects “Idea-1000”. Awarding ceremony was held at a KRK “Pyramida” (Kazan).
Republic Tatarstan and JSC “Russian venture company” (RVC) are interested in partnership in the sphere of seed financing of innovative projects. These issues have been discussed today at meeting between RT Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov and General Director of RVC Igor Agamirzyan. Director of RT investment venture fund Ainur Aideldinov also presented at the meeting. Igor Agamirzyan told about activity of RVC and plans of development for 2010.
During the session participants considered and approved a number of proposals, heard the reports on current activity of RT investment-venture fund. The proposal to enlarge the number of nominations in contest “Best 50 innovative ideas for Republic Tatarstan” was particularly approved. Thus, to define perspective projects in priority spheres of economy new nominations have been introduced: “Nanoimpuls”, “Innovations in education”, “Cooperation” (the projects will be accepted from Tatarstan, Russian regions and foreign countries).
