Tatarstan Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov holds session of council of trustees of RT investment-venture fund

During the session participants considered and approved a number of proposals, heard the reports on current activity of RT investment-venture fund. The proposal to enlarge the number of nominations in contest “Best 50 innovative ideas for Republic Tatarstan” was particularly approved. Thus, to define perspective projects in priority spheres of economy new nominations have been introduced: “Nanoimpuls”, “Innovations in education”, “Cooperation” (the projects will be accepted from Tatarstan, Russian regions and foreign countries).

Russian venture company has been a partner of contest since 2009. It has invested 700 000 roubles into award fund of the contest. The most successful entrepreneurs-competitors will be awarded with a trip to one of the largest technoparks of Europe “Sophia Antipolis” (France) in 2010.

It was noted that in 2009 for participation in contest “The best 50 innovative ideas for Republic Tatarstan” and program of innovative projects “Idea-1000” 1279 applications were presented. In addition, RT investment-venture fund paid compensations for 5 organizations for the sum of 1 776,8 thousand roubles in 2009.
