President of Tatarstan signed Memorandum on creation of interregional “Association of innovative regions of Russia”

Memorandum on creation of interregional “Association of innovative regions of Russia” has been signed today in Tomsk within frameworks of XIII innovation forum Innovus.

Memorandum on creation of interregional “Association of innovative regions of Russia” has been signed today in Tomsk within frameworks of XIII innovation forum Innovus.

Eight regions took part in signing ceremony – Novosibirsk, Tomsk, Irkutsk, Perm, Kaluga regions, Krasnoyarsk krai, Republic of Tatarstan and Mordovia and Russian corporation of nanotechnologies.

Rector of Academy of national economy under RF government Vladimir Mau signed the document.

On part of Republic Tatarstan memorandum was signed by RT President Rustam Minnikhanov.

The main goals of association are lobbing of participants’ interests and experience exchange in the sphere of development and adoption of innovations.

It is expected that all documents on creation of “Association of innovative regions of Russia” will be prepared in September 2010.

Forum is being held in Tomsk on May, 20-21 in building of Tomsk state philharmonic. This year the subject is innovative leadership of regions.

Organizers are administration of Tomsk oblast and Academy of national economy under RF government.

Forum is devoted to discussing challenges of new decade for innovative regions and forecasting of risks of innovative development and searching for new mechanisms of its decrease.
