Within the framework of preparation for the 4th Kazan Venture Fair, Investment and Venture Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan in cooperation with Russian Venture Capital Association (RVCA) will hold the training seminar (couching) on April 2, 2009.

Applications for participation in the 4^th Kazan Venture Fair were sent not only from the cities of the Republic of Tatarstan, but also from Moscow, Ulyanovsk and other Russian cities.

    On March 24, 2009, there were considered several issues, including the item concerning the statement of LLC "LCSB-RT" for 2008, question of alterations into the “Support Program of SME by Investment in Production Goods on the Basis of Leasing” in order to assure availability of lease payments financing for small and medium-sized business entities under the conditions of the crisis, and there was heard the information about the Fund’s progress on compensating part of the interest rate on bank credits to the enterprises, implementing the projects in the priority branches of the economy of the Republic of Tatarstan within the framework of the meeting of the Council of Trustees of the Investment and Venture Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Head of Investment and Venture Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan – Aynur Aydeldinov – has told journalists today about preparation to Kazan Venture Fair to be held on 23-24 April, 2009, within the framework of traditional briefing in Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan.

He reminded that the event will be held the fourth time in joint cooperation with Russian Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (RVCA).

Three winners of the Program will receive right for the grant in amount of 10 000 US Dollars. This grant will give an opportunity to Tatarstan businessmen to travel to the USA with a view of participation in already planned meetings with potential partners, investors and services suppliers.

Within the framework of preparation to the Fourth Kazan Venture Fair on March 11-12, 2009, Investment and Venture Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan jointly with Russian Private Equity and Venture Capital Association organize trainings (coaching) for representative of selected companies.

Basic goals of the Program "Revolver Fund of State Non-Commercial Organization “Investment and Venture Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan" are the following: expansion of opportunities for participation of small and medium-sized business subjects - manufacturers of the goods in accommodation of orders, and stimulation of such participation; maintenance of favorable conditions for development of small and medium-sized business subjects - manufacturers of the goods; maintenance of competitiveness among subjects of small and medium-sized business - manufacturers of the goods; support of small and medium-sized business subjects - manufacturers of the goods, which sign state or municipal contract on the delivery of the goods produced by them according to the Federal Law №94-FL “On Distribution of Orders for the Goods, Works and Services for State and Municipal Needs” dated to 21/07/2005 (hereinafter referred to as Federal Law #94-FL); rendering of assistance to subjects of small and medium-sized business - to manufacturers of the goods in promotion of the goods made by them.

The television version of the 4^th Republican Contest "50 Best Innovative Ideas for the Republic of Tatarstan" will be broadcast on February 8, 2009, at 8 p.m. on TV-channel "TNV".

History of Venture Fairs organization in the Republic of Tatarstan dates back to 2005. It was the Year of Kazan 1000th anniversary celebration, when the First Regional Venture Fair was held in Kazan on June 10. It was organized by the Russian Private Equity and Venture Capital Association and Innovative Technopark “Idea”. Support on preparation and organization of the Fair was provided by: Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan, Ministry of Science and Education of the Russian Federation and Plenipotentiary Representative Office of President of the Russian Federation in Volga Federal District.
