Memorandum of Understanding was signed today in Kazan within the framework of 4^th Kazan Venture Fair between U.S. Civilian Research & Development Foundation and Investment and Venture Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Opening of the Venture Fair in the period of the economical crisis is an indicator of high economical and innovative potential of the Republic of Tatarstan. Prime Minister of the Free State of Saxony, Mr. Stanislaw Tillich said about that in the opening ceremony of the 4^th Kazan Venture Fair at the complex “Korston.”

April 24, 2009, it will be the ceremonial opening of the 4^th Kazan Venture Fair (at Korston HOTEL & MALL KAZAN). The beginning of the ceremonial opening is at 10.15. on April 24, 2009. The beginning of the participants’ registration at 9.00. on April 24, 2009.

European Tech Tour Association is turning into active phase of preparation to Second Russian Tech Tour, which is the platform, aimed at assisting to Russian technological companies in exit on international markets.

Let us remind that during the 4^th Kazan Venture Fair it is expected to sign Memorandum of Understanding between US Civilian Research and Development Foundation (CRDF) and Investment and Venture Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Representatives of Russian and foreign venture and private equity funds, representatives of strategic and private investors, ”business-angels”, large corporations, specialists of investment companies and banks, legal and consulting organizations, employees of target Ministries and Departments of Federal and Regional levels are invited to work at the 4th Kazan Venture Fair.

April 16, 2009, International Forum “Development of innovative space in CIS. Role and place of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of CIS states” was opened in Korston, Kazan. Within the framework of the Forum, presentation of projects of the Investment and Venture Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan was held.

Unless today’s global economic crunch, Gross Regional Product (GRP) of the Republic of Tatarstan in 2009 could reach 1 billion rubles. It was declared today at the opening of International Forum “Development of innovative space of CIS. Role and place of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of CIS states” by Mintimer Shaimiev - President of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Today in Cabinet of Ministers of the RT, Rustam Minnikhanov, Head of the Government of Tatarstan, has performed the meeting of Council of Trustees on Investments and Venture Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan (IVF RT).
