Head of the Government of Tatarstan took part in signing the Memorandum of Understanding between U.S. Civilian Research & Development Foundation (CRDF) and Investment and Venture Fund of RT

Memorandum of Understanding was signed today in Kazan within the framework of 4th Kazan Venture Fair between U.S. Civilian Research & Development Foundation and Investment and Venture Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan.

President of U.S. Civilian Research & Development Foundation, Kathy Campbell and Director of Investment and Venture Fund (IVF) of the RT, Aynur Aydeldinov fixed the document with signatures.

RT Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the ceremony of signing.

It is supposed that CRDF and IVF RT will conduct joint activity on support of establishing the small and medium-sized technological enterprises, creating the relations between entrepreneurial and investment communities of the USA and RT, as well as on strengthening the scientific and technical cooperation between the USA and Russia on the whole.

It is a reminder that in the course of the contest selection, each of three companies – participants of the 4th Kazan Venture Fair will obtain the grants per 10 thous. USD for organizing the travel to the US, training course, and conducting the presentations of their projects to the potential investors.

Allocating the grants to the journey was approved by the Council of Trustees of IVF RT.

Moreover, April 20 – 24, U.S. Civilian Research & Development Foundation in cooperation with IVF RT held the seminar-training on development of entrepreneurship in the sphere of technologies. The seminar is aimed at transferring skills and expertise in the sphere of innovative business to the innovative organizations and the representatives of the innovative infrastructure, and building the effective models for commercializing the technologies.
