Investment and Venture Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan announces Journalism competition on highlighting innovative activities and venture business in the Republic of Tatarstan.

The main objectives of the competition are to foster journalists to cover innovative and venture business achievements and to demonstrate Tatarstans Republic attractiveness for innovation in mass media. Additionally, the competitions aims to encourage journalists and thank them for promoting venture business and innovative activities with the help of the media.

Materials submitted to the competition , including TV programs, articles and pieces, are required to discuss an innovation, a particular research with innovative applications for Tatarstan Republic, as well as a potential for commercialization; innovative-technological business-projects carried out in Tatarstan Republic; activities aimed at creating opportunities for entrepreneurship; success stories of technology entrepreneurs.

Requirements

Publications and pieces need to be consistent with the competition’s topic and need to address non-specialist wide audiences. The writing style needs to be logical, consistent and comprehensible and demonstrate creativity. Materials need to be based on reliable sources.

Deadline for applications: April 1 – October 15, 2013. Please email at reception@ivfrt.com.

The panel examines applications from October 16 to November 30, 2013.

Prize fund constitutes 100 000 rubles.

1st prize – 50 000 rubles;
2nd prize – 30 000 rubles;
3rd prize – 20 000 rubles.

Results of the competition will be officially announced and published at the official website of IVF TR and at ivf.tatarstan.ru and the winners will be awarded. The date of the official ceremony will be confirmed later.

Applications submitted after the deadline are no longer valid. Competition is free of charge.
