Tatarstan Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov: “We want to make Tatarstan a leader in Russian IT industry”

Rustam Minnikhanov made a speech in front of participants of the second Russian technological tour.

We remind that Kazan is among 3 Russian cities which participants of Russian technological tour are planning to visit this week (Moscow – September,22, Kazan – September,24, Tomsk - September,25).

The event is organized by European Association “Tech Tour” (ЕТТ - European Tech Tour Association). It’s held in Russia for the second time. By and large more than 30 technological tours have been held in various European countries.

Prime Minister told about Tatarstan infrastructure created for business development (that is technoparks, business incubators, special economic zone “Alabuga”). He also reminded that IT-park in the sphere of high technologies will be opened on October, 20 in Kazan. Its total area makes 30 000 m².

“Such event as Tech Tour is a possibility to demonstrate our innovative and high-tech projects to investors, - RT Prime minister said.

President of European Association “Tech tour” Sven Lihgjaerde said in his turn that such events help regions to progress.

Director General of RT investment venture fund Ainur Aideldinov greeted participants and guests on behalf of the fund. He told about experience of cooperation with foreign partners and creation of venture funds.

Such IT-companies as Evernote, IIKO, Umisoft, A5.ru, LogoTag, Apollo Project. Light Engines Corp, Pokupator were presented within the framework of the second Russian Tech Tour.
