Projects of “Investment and Venture Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan” will take part in the IX Moscow International Salon of Innovations and Investments

“Investment and Venture Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan” will present a number of innovative projects, including "Solvent technology for refinery of natural bitumen and oil residues
for production of unoxidised bitumen products," “Setup for production of high-technology plants for deep thermochemical processing of waste wood ," and "Setup for production of equipment for modifying surfaces of articles from metals and alloys using multi-channel plasma discharge."
From August, 26-29, 2009, IX Moscow International Salon of Innovations and Investments will take place in Moscow in the new exhibition hall No. 75 of All-Russian Exhibition Center. Moscow International Salon of Innovations and Investments has been held since 2001, and it is the largest and unique scientific-technical forum for inventors, developers, and producers of high-technological products, investment projects in scientific-technical sphere and industry in Russia. The Salon is held under the auspices of the RF Government for the purposes of innovative activity promotion, the Russian production extension, development of intellectual property market, improvement of patent and licensing activity, and pooling of interests of inventors, developers, and producers of high-technological production, and representatives from industrial and financial business of the RF, states of the former Soviet Union, and far-abroad countries.
Approximately 600 exponents from 26 RF regions and 19 European countries, South-East Asia, Scandinavia, and the USA take part in the Salon. Among the Salon participants are: scientific centers and industrial facilities, higher education institutions, technoparks, small and medium business enterprises of the Russian regions, science towns, and centers for international scientific-technical and innovative cooperation.
The Salon’s central exposition will show basic results and perspective areas for activity of Ministry of Education of Russia, Russian Science (Rosnauka) and Russian Education (Rosobrazovanie) for Development of Fundamental and Applied Sciences, progress of state policy implementation for developing education and domestic developments and technologies within the framework of federal target programs.
For the first time, joint exposition of Moscow City, reflecting the level of innovative-industrial potential of the capital, will be presented within the framework of the Salon.
The events of the Salon’s business part are combined with the general subject “National Development Priorities of Russia: Education, Science, Innovations,” related to implementing one of the most important strands of the state policy in innovative sphere — enhancement of efficiency for using the results from scientific-technical activity and their clear orientation on producing the competitive innovative product. Conferences, round tables, business meetings, and presentations of innovative projects and regional programs for innovative development, will take place within the framework of business program.
Organizers of the Salon are: Ministry of Education and Science, the Federal Science and Innovations Agency, Federal Education Agency, and Government of Moscow.
In preparation and holding the Salon take part: federal and regional government executive bodies, Federal Assembly of the RF, Presidential Executive Office of the RF, CIS Executive Committee, Russian Academy of Science, Federal Agency for Management of Special Economic Zones, Russian Technological Development Fund, Fund for Promotion of Development of Small Forms of Enterprises in Scientific and Technical Sphere, ОАО “SC All-Russian Exhibition Center,” FSI SRI RRSCCE (Republican Research Scientific-Counselling Centre of Expertise), Russian Venture Capital Association, Russian Union of Innovation and Technology Centers, and other agencies, funds and organizations.
