Acceptance of applications for participation in the 6 Kazan Venture Fair was started
In one day and in one place management of innovative companies of small and medium-sized capitalization get the opportunity not only to present their business to potential investors, but also to build up direct business contacts, to exchange experience, to discuss last tendencies of development with colleagues as well as with representatives of authoritative structures of federal and regional levels.
The fifth Kazan Venture Fair organized by the Investment and Venture Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Russian Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (RVCA), took place in Kazan on April, 23, 2010.
The Venture Fair of 2010 hosted the following representatives:
RUSNANO, Russian Venture Company (RVC), National Association of Business-Angels (NABA), Foundation for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises (FASIE), the Moscow Interbank Stock Exchange; Troika Dialogue, I-man Capital, Mint Capital, Softline Venture Partners, Alfa Capital Partners, VTB Asset Company, Eastway Capital LLC, Almaz Capital, Helix Ventures, Althaus Group, Wermuth Asset Management); banks (VTB, the Foreign trade and investment banc, Bank VTB-24, the Russian Bank of Development, Gazprombank, International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Microsoft Russia, BrandFlight, Parallels, ABBYY), representatives of the Ministries (Ministry of Education and Science, Ministry of Economical Development), State Duma of Russian Federation, Council of Federation, regional administrations.
The number of visitors of the fair has exceeded 1000 people.
The exposition of the Fifth Kazan Venture Fair consisted of 53 companies from different cities of Tatarstan Republic and Russian Federation - winners of the competitive selection which have collected more of 100 preliminary applications from the companies.
Companies interested in attraction of direct private investments for development of their businesses are invited to participate in the Sixth Kazan Venture Fair.
The Following companies are invited:
- Developing production/service with the high added cost;
- Possessing high rates of growth;
- Capable to provide internal profitableness of the project not less than 30 % annual.
Key feature of the Fair is preliminary expert examination of applications of the small and medium-sized companies. The purpose is a check-up of the companies on conformity to requirements of a venture investor, also obligatory specialized preparation of owners and managers of the companies selected on an exposition, aimed at mastering of effective presentation of business to a potential investor.
Representatives of Russian and foreign venture funds and funds of direct investments, strategic and private investors, "business-angels", large corporations, experts from the investment companies and banks, legal and consulting organizations, employees of the interested ministries and departments of federal and regional levels are invited to the Sixth Kazan Venture Fair.
The expert commission will determine winners in various nominations among the companies-exhibitors of the Fair which will be rewarded with valuable prizes and diplomas.
