The Fifth Republican Contest “Fifty Best Ideas for the Repubic of Tatarstan” has started

The projects oriented to solving the problems of scientific-technical, economical, social, and humanitarian development of the Republic of Tatarstan, are received to the Contest.

Individuals from the Republic of Tatarstan, RF regions, and foreign countries are invited to participate in the Contest.

Main criteria of the Contest selection:

• Project urgency and significance for the Republic of Tatarstan;
• Project conformity with the modern level of science and technology development;
• Project conformity with main priorities for social and economic development of the Republic of Tatarstan;
• Possibility for a project realization with the Fund participation.

Selection of the projects is carried out for parallel funding in the future within the framework of the “Program of Innovative Projects “Idea-1000.” In accordance with the Cooperation Agreement signed by Investment and Venture Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Foundation for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises (Bortnik’s Fund), and the Innovative Technopark “Idea” within the framework of the Contest.   

According to the terms of the Program "Idea-1000," funding on the grant basis is allocated ranging from 400 thous. rub. to 4 mln. rub., depending on the nomination for one year stage of a project implementation.

The Contest "Fifty Best Innovative Projects of the Republic of Tatarstan" is held in the following nominations:

Nomination "Perspective"

For participation in this Contest nomination, projects of the participants of the “Forth Republican Contest of Innovative Scientific-Technical Projects from the RT Educational Institutions Students,” among which are: pupils from 10-11 grades of comprehensive schools, students from elemenatry, specialised secondary, and  higher (first year) professional educational institutions, and from alumni of the RT associations for further education with technical orientation.

Nomination "Start of Innovations"

Projects of the applicants from the Republic of Tatarstan, RF regions, and foreign countries, oriented to solving scientific-technological problems, are accepted for this Contest nomination.

Nomination "Nanoimpulse"

Projects of the applicants from the Republic of Tatarstan, RF regions, and foreign countries, implementing the projects in the sphere of nanotechnologies, are accepted for this Contest nomination.

Nomination "Cooperation"

Projects of the applicants from the Republic of Tatarstan, RF regions, and foreign countries, oriented to solving the tasks of the RT enterprises, are accepted for this Contest nomination.

Nomination "Best Invention of the Year"

Projects on inventons’ introduction, to the authors of which were granted the patents for invention by the Federal Service for Intellectual Property, Patents and Trademarks (Rospatent) in the previous calendar year, are accepted for this Contest nomination.

Nomination "Social and Economic Development of the Republic of Tatarstan"

For participation in this Contest nomination, projects of the applicants from the Republic of Tatarstan, RF regions, and foreign countries, oriented to solving the social and economic and humanitarian tasks of the Republic of Tatarstan development.

According to the Contest results depending on the nomination, the best projects’ authors are granted with the following premiums form the Contest organizers:

- in the nominaton “Perspective” – up to 10 premiums equal to 50 000 (Fifty thousand) roubles, recommendations from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan are also provided for entering the higher education establishments, situated in the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan, according to the RF Legislation, determining the admission procedure  to the State Educational Institution of Higher Professional Training (higher education establishments) of the Russian Federation;

- in the nominaton “Start for Innovations” – up to 10 premiums equal to 50 000 (Fifty thousand) roubles;

- in the nominaton “Nanoimpulse” – up to 10 premiums equal to 50 000 (Fifty thousand) roubles;

- in the nominaton “Cooperation” – up to 5 premiums equal to 50 000 (Fifty thousand) roubles;

- in the nominaton “Best Invention of the Year” – up to 5 premiums equal to 50 000 (Fifty thousand) roubles;

- in the nominaton “Social and Economic Development of the Republic Tatarstan” – up to 10 premiums equal to 50 000 (Fifty thousand) roubles;

An applicant chooses a nomination, in which he/she wants to take part and sends the documents that are subject to submission by the Contest participants, to the Organizers or at the location of the organization, acting on the basis of the Cooperation Agreement with the Fund (hereinafter referred to as Representative office).

TERMS AND STAGES OF THE CONTEST HOLDING

The Contest is held annually at the following time:

- the first stage is held from August 1 to October 15 of the relevant year;

Reception, registration, and preliminary appraisal of the projects for meeting the requirements of this Provision are carried out in the representative offices at the first stage of the Contest,;

- the second stage is held from 16 October to November 30 of the relevant year;

At the second stage of the Contest, the Contest Expert Council carries out appraisal and selection of the projects. Formation procedure and activity of the Expert Council is determined by the Contest Organizing Committee;

- the third stage from December 1 to December 30 of the relevant year;

Approval of the results and awarding the Contest winners is held at the third stage.
